Green Tide Aquatics began just two years ago as a simple one-man operation — born from a deep passion for marine life and a drive to make the hobby more sustainable. What started with a single tank and the dream of breeding Thor amboinensis (better known as the Sexy Shrimp) has evolved into a dedicated space for innovation, marine breeding, and algae cultivation.

Our journey started with a focus on marine shrimp, and after much trial and error, we’ve successfully bred two captivating species: Thor amboinensis (Sexy Shrimp) and Lysmata wurdemanni (Peppermint Shrimp). That passion continues to grow with the recent addition of two pairs of mature clownfish and an ever-expanding algae lab — where we cultivate premium live algae to support reef tanks, marine breeders, and passionate hobbyists.
